Giga Manga: For those who can't draw, Google has a clever AI-assisted manga art generator.

Why bother being creative when Google can do it for you? It has Giga Manga to do the work for you, right at your finger tips.

Giga Manga is an online experimental platform that turns your scribbles into manga artwork using machine learning. It transforms your doodle into the protagonist of a doujinshi using a combination of AI and machine learning techniques trained on over 140,000 high-resolution photographs.

There's no denying that machine learning and artificial intelligence have transformed the world in the last decade. From the early days in 2012, when an elite team at Google Brain trained a cutting-edge computer to identify a cat, to today, when anybody with a Chromebook can use Google's open-source Tensor Flow for their projects, machine learning is everywhere. However, I didn't expect to find it in an online program for creating manga pictures.

Procedure of Giga Manga :

The procedure is rather straightforward. To begin, doodle something: a circle, a squiggle, an outline, whatever. Based on the 140,000 training photographs, Google will provide you with a rough shape of a portrait. Following that, it's up to us to use our imaginations to fill in certain elements like lines and colors that Giga Manga may utilize to create the rest of the image for us.

Manga:

Manga, Out of the Box is a collaboration between Google, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and 12 Japanese cultural institutions. Google presents the long heritage of manga on its Arts & Culture website, from its ancient beginnings in Chōjū Giga scrolls to the 19th century when western art encountered Japanese prints, to the post-war creation of Astro Boy, to the hundreds of titles accessible online and on stores throughout the world.

Giga Manga is currently ready for play, but there's no telling how long it will be available, so don't delay if you want to see one of the future ways machine learning may take us. There's just one problem: you'll need some artistic ability or you'll wind up with an AI-generated pile of steaming crap like I did.
